Some didn't have a pair of shoes to call their own," said Nicholas, now 15. "I've been very fortunate to grow up in a family that is able to provide me with whatever I need. A lot of kids here in the U.S. don't have the same opportunities."

There were 1.6 million homeless children across the United States in 2010, according to a report from the National Center on Family Homelessness (PDF). With no permanent place to live, many stay on the streets or in shelters, motels, cars and abandoned buildings.

...1.6million homeless children not living in their "own" homes, and not even in a "rental house", is not by far a normal thing to exist...!

...USA Capitalism, false economics of "foreclosures", landlords, "bubbles", inflation, and false economies, is exemplary and proof that the "pudding" is rotten...! The winners are the "heartless" white collar thiefs that get richer in it all...!

...This donating American kid "Lowringer" is not being really nice or good...! Rather he is not doing nothing to stop homelessness...!

REALLY IT IS JUST THE OLD STORY OF HUMAN "SLAVERY" OVER AND OVER, IN THE "MODERN" VERSIONS of social classes and poor peasants...! FREEDOMS CLASHES, government forces SUBJUGATION, etc...!

...Eastern Europeans, have all provided, live middle to high class lives, a lot of them work, and do not waste away in lives without capitalist competition and anxiety of pressures of much worry...!  
They are educated and active and happy, and dignified...! And their kids are not homeless nor need shoes, much less shelters...!
